Acquis Consulting Group is seeking intelligent and skilled consultants to join the Acquis Technology Solutions practice as a Project Manager. Candidates must have 5+ years’ experience as management consultants, including experience in a project manager capacity. Direct experience managing complex system implementations and teams of peoples is necessary. 

Preferred focus areas include procurement, supplier enablement, travel & expense, or other areas that drive operational effectiveness and efficiency.  Experience with the full software development lifecycle including requirements gathering, future-state design, testing management, cutover/deployment and change management is required.  Other required experience includes project management, client interaction, project planning, meeting facilitation, stakeholder management and the desire to mentor junior team resources. 

As a growth organization Acquis requires its Project Managers to be self-starters who will contribute to and lead internal company development initiatives.  Project Managers will also at times be asked to contribute to business development and sales activities. 

Candidates must be self-starters with proven positions of leadership. Mental agility and the ability to learn quickly are paramount. The ability to take on new challenges and succeed beyond one’s comfort zone is required. 



  • Manage client expectations and experience in a way that results in high client satisfaction
  • Lead all aspects of implementation from mobilization to deployment and support
  • Facilitate process discussions for leading and/or best practices
  • Partners with client and vendor resources to effectively create, manage, and monitor project plan, budget, timeline, milestones, and deliverables
  • Engage clients in business requirement discussions while challenging the status quo versus only covering feature/functional basics
  • Provide technical and functional expertise to clients throughout the project lifecycle
  • Create and/or improve implementation plans, templates, training guides, presentations and other deliverables or accelerators
  • Follow a standard project implementation methodology for all clients and tailor to meet each client's unique business requirements
  • Understanding of the client’s big picture with an ability to identify new opportunities and collaborate with colleagues to try to expand the client relationship
  • Provide mentorship to project team members and colleagues where needed
  • Work well in both individual and team settings both onsite and remote
  • Contribute beyond client delivery with practice development, knowledge transfer, operational improvement, recruiting and sales


  • 5+ years' experience in systems applications consulting, preferably with a consulting firm or software provider
  • Candidates should have strong client management skills and be able to work with customers to execute an implementation plan that works towards a rapid, successful go live
  • Experience leading varied work streams (e.g. testing, change management, etc.) within complex system implementation projects
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced and passionate environment
  • Manage clients where up to 30% of your time may include travel
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to think from a big picture perspective
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to foster an environment of collaboration and excellence
  • Ability to manage and effectively balance multiple clients simultaneously
  • Ability to manage resources and deliver work products on time and with exceptional quality in a remote work environment
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint)
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
  • Bachelor's degree (or higher)
