POSITION OVERVIEW

Acquis Consulting Group is seeking intelligent and skilled consultants to join the Acquis Technology Solutions SAP Concur practice as a T&E Functional Consultant.  Direct experience designing and configuring SAP Concur is necessary.  Experience with the full software development lifecycle including requirements gathering, future-state design, testing management, cutover/deployment and change management is required.  Experience integrating expense management technologies with HR, ERP, and financial applications is a plus.  Other preferred qualifications include strong client facilitation and the desire to mentor junior team resources. 

As a growth organization, Acquis requires its T&E Functional Consultants to be self-starters who will contribute to and lead internal company development initiatives.  T&E Functional Consultants will also at times be asked to contribute to business development and sales activities. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES FOR T&E FUNCTIONAL CONSULTANT

  • Provide technical and functional expertise to clients during the implementation process
  • Facilitate process discussions for leading and/or best practices
  • Engage clients in business requirement discussions while challenging the status quo versus only covering feature/functional basics
  • Ability to facilitate requirements gathering sessions, perform Fit/Gap Analysis, document decisions, maintain configuration documentation, facilitate client testing activities, and coordinate deployment activities
  • Responsible for the detailed documentation of business requirements and future-state design specifications
  • Provide clients with necessary functional/technical aptitude to configure the product to meet business requirements and design specifications
  • Ability to research, solution, or otherwise identify answers or approaches to requirements presented by clients in a self-directed manner
  • Help clients navigate the transformation, implementation and configuration of SAP Concur
  • Work to continually increase self-knowledge of the Concur product and the evolution of the technology platform, and collaborate with Acquis’ colleagues to ensure the team continues to evolve their Concur knowledge
  • Prioritize clients' interest and proactively listen to ensure that work exceeds their expectations
  • Work well in both individual and team settings both onsite and remote
  • Contribute beyond client delivery with practice development, knowledge transfer, operational improvement and recruiting
  • Provide mentorship to project team members and colleagues where needed

 

QUALIFICATIONS FOR T&E FUNCTIONAL CONSULTANT

  • Experience with Travel & Expense processes and implementations
  • 3+ years' experience in T&E systems applications consulting, either internally or externally with a consulting firm or software providers
  • Experience in designing and facilitating setup and configuration of SAP Concur, most specifically the Expense module
  • Experience designing, mapping, and integrating T&E Systems with third-party ERP's and other relevant business systems
  • Experience supporting varied work streams (e.g. testing, change management, etc.) within complex system implementation projects is a plus
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced and passionate environment
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to foster an environment of collaboration and excellence
  • Ability to learn technology quickly through instruction and self-training
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to think from a big picture perspective
  • Ability to manage and effectively balance multiple clients and systems designs simultaneously
  • Ability to deliver work products on time and with exceptional quality in a remote work environment
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint)
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
  • Bachelor's degree (or higher)
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
