POSITION OVERVIEW

Acquis Consulting Group is seeking intelligent and skilled project managers with at least 5 years of related experience to join the Acquis Technology Solutions SAP Concur practice as a T&E Project Manager.  Direct experience managing complex SAP Concur implementations and teams of peoples is necessary.  Experience with the full software development lifecycle including requirements gathering, testing management, and change management is required.  Experience integrating expense management technologies with HR, ERP, and financial applications is a plus.  Other preferred qualifications includes strong client facilitation and project management and the desire to mentor junior team resources. 

As a growth organization, Acquis requires its T&E Project Managers to be self-starters who will contribute to and lead internal company development initiatives.  T&E Project Managers will also at times be asked to contribute to business development and sales activities. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES FOR T&E PROJECT MANAGER

  • Manage client expectations and experience in a way that results in high client satisfaction
  • Lead all aspects of implementation from mobilization to deployment and support
  • Lead process discussions for leading and/or best practices
  • Partners with clients and SAP Concur resources to effectively create, manage, and monitor project plan, budget, timeline, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Engage clients in enlightened business requirement discussions versus feature/function basics
  • Provide technical and functional expertise to clients throughout the project lifecycle
  • Create and/or improve implementation plans, templates, training guides, presentations and other deliverables or accelerators
  • Follow a standard project implementation methodology for all clients and tailor to meet each client's unique business requirements
  • Provide mentorship to project team members and colleagues where needed
  • Work well in both individual and team settings both on and off-site
  • Contribute beyond client delivery with practice development, knowledge transfer, operational improvement, recruiting and sales

 

QUALIFICATIONS FOR T&E PROJECT MANAGER

  • Experience with Travel & Expense processes and implementations
  • 5+ years' experience in T&E systems applications consulting, either internally or externally with a consulting firm or software providers
  • Candidates should have strong client management skills and be able to work with customers to execute an implementation plan that works towards a rapid, successful go live
  • Experience leading varied work streams (e.g. testing, change management, etc.) within complex system implementation projects is a plus
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced and passionate environment
  • Manage clients where up to 25% of your time may include travel
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to think from a big picture perspective
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to foster an environment of collaboration and excellence
  • Ability to manage resources and deliver work products on time and with exceptional quality in a remote work environment
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint)
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
  • Bachelor's degree (or higher)
