POSITION OVERVIEW

Acquis Consulting Group is seeking intelligent and skilled consultants with at least 1 year of related experience to join Acquis Technology Solutions as T&E Implementation Consultants.  Functional consulting experience and/or experience with Concur Travel and Expense and/or other global expense reporting software is strongly preferred, particularly in systems configuration and implementation, SDLC, IT Project Lifecycle, and business intelligence and reporting.  Other preferred experience includes client interaction, project planning, and project management.  Understanding of technology, such as SaaS, interfaces, databases, and reporting analysis tools is also crucial. Experience with HR, ERP, and financial applications, and knowledge of general accounting practices is a plus.

As a growth organization Acquis requires its T&E Implementation Consultants to be self-starters who will contribute to and lead internal company development initiatives.  T&E Implementation Consultants will also at times be asked to contribute to business development and sales activities.  Candidates must be self-starters with proven positions of leadership. 

Mental agility and the ability to learn are paramount.  The ability to take on new challenges and succeed beyond one’s comfort zone is required.

SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Acts as an incisive, effective creative thinker bringing business and consulting experience to client engagements and applies expert skills in communication, research, problem-solving, and analysis to client work.
  • Takes on significant responsibilities, working closely with clients and making a major contribution to every engagement, including leading smaller engagements.
  • Explains and reviews analysis/findings with team members and client personnel.
  • Manages client expectations and project scope actively with an approach designed to engender project success and extend goodwill.
  • Identifies implications of proposed solutions on people, processes, technology, strategy and structure.
  • Thrives in an entrepreneurial, results-oriented, small business environment.
  • Collaborates with Concur resources to gather functional and technical requirements from clients related to their Concur system implementation needs
  • Configures the system according to client needs and scope of Concur products/services
  • Willingness to assist with internal activities as needed

EDUCATION

  • BS or BA (Business, Finance, Engineering, Computer Sciences preferred)
  • MBA is not required; only MBAs with prior consulting experience are considered

SKILL SET AND EXPERIENCE

Preferred consulting backgrounds include but are not limited to:

  • Systems Configuration and Implementation
  • SDLC / IT Project Lifecycle
  • Data Analytics and Reporting
  • Travel and Expense Management
  • Project Management

Preferred skill sets include but are not limited to:

  • Concur T&E implementation and administration
  • Implementation and configuration of other global expense reporting solutions (e.g., IBM GERS etc.)
  • Operations process analysis
  • IT systems design and requirements
  • Applied financial and management accounting
